How to grow a bonsai tree?

Posted on November 1st, 2009 by Jon Brown in bonsai tree |

Plz tell me the process of selecting, planting & growing bonsai tree. Which common trees are good for making a bonsai? & where can i buy it in punjab?

ANY tree can be made into a bonsai.

If you want to keep your tree inside all year round, then select a tropical variety, which will be able to live inside, without winter dormancy.

Usually people buy bonsai "starts" - young saplings - from a nursery or greenhouse. But if you can find the seeds, certainly it’s possible to grow your own from "scratch".
